Expect an epic Twitter melt down from John Dowd this morning once he gets wind of the news that Muller has subpoenaed Deutsche Bank for his...er...his client’s… and his client’s family’s…. financial records.
“FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Special Counsel Robert Mueller has asked Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) to share data on accounts held by U.S. President Donald Trump and his family, a person close to the matter said on Tuesday.
Germany’s largest bank received a subpoena from Mueller several weeks ago to provide information on certain money and credit transactions, the person added, confirming a report by German daily Handelsblatt published on Tuesday.”
Of course Deutsche Bank rejected House Democrats’ request for the records last June, but back then they had a fig leaf as no one in the drumpf enabling majority party signed onto the ask. And, the House critters asked nicely... sending a letter rather than a subpoena. It will be interesting to see how they answer Mueller.
Perhaps as informative will be the tweetage, no matter the source.
The louder the little birdie sings, the more trouble there is for drumpf in Deutschland...
