By any measure Space Shuttle Astronaut Ronald Erwin McNair was a true American Hero, displaying honor, integrity and courage far in excess of any the Orange Gasbag now besmirching the Oval Office could wet-dream in himself in that atrophied fever swamp he calls a brain.
In the summer of 1959, Ron, just eight years old, refused to leave the segregated Lake City, South Carolina Public Library without being allowed to check out his books. After the police and his mother were called, he was allowed to borrow books from the library.
Which now bears his name.
