VFW National HQ Apologizes for drumpf's Disparagement of the Press. Twitter Replies Run Hot....

Today, we were disappointed to hear some of our members boo the press during President Trump's remarks. We rely on the media to spread the VFW message, and @CNN, @NBCNews, @ABC, @FoxNews, @CBSNews, & others on site today, were our invited guests. We were happy to have them there.

I agree, the  press is our friend, but as a veteran and member of VFW I'm disappointed you invited the president to speak. Holding the office doesn't make him worthy of our respect. He's a draft dodger and wants us to go to war. #VeteransAgainstTrump

That's awesome of you to defend the press, however, it was the remarks of @POTUS that egged them on.  You would have to know that he's not thinking about your members, he just needed another rally.  It was a disgusting display, these Vets deserved better.
