Laura Ingraham Still Losing Sponsors, This Time Ace Hardware, But Rupert Murdoch Has Her Back.

If Laura Ingraham thought that taking a week long hiatus — precipitated by her attacks on Stoneman Douglas shooting survivor David Hogg —   from the daily grind of having to produce hate filled screeds for her nightly shit show The Ingraham Angle on Faux Spews would staunch the exodus of advertisers from her program, she is, all too typically, deluded and mistaken, as another major sponsor, Ace Hardware, has announced it will no longer be associated with her brand of repugnant B.S.

Huffington Post

“The bad news keeps coming for Fox News host Laura Ingraham even while she’s on vacation: Another sponsor has reportedly dropped her show.

Ace Hardware will no longer advertise on “The Ingraham Angle,” TheWrap reported on Thursday.

“I can confirm that we do not have any plans to nationally advertise on Ingraham’s show in the future,” an unnamed spokeswoman for the company told the website.

TheWrap said Ace had two ads on the show in March, including one on March 28, the day she launched her ill-fated slam against David Hogg, a teen survivor of the Feb. 14 mass shooting in Parkland, Florida.”

But it appears that the ailing owner of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch, still smarting from the loss of two of his favorite misogynists, the now permanently departed from the planet Roger Ailes and banished to obscurity Bildo O’Reilly, is drawing the line at losing his favorite blond-haired agitprop slinger.

Vanity Fair

Rupert Murdoch continues to recover at his Bel Air estate from a back injury suffered on his son Lachlan’s yacht in January, but he had strong views on how Fox should respond to the controversy. Sources said the 87-year-old mogul wanted Fox to more forcefully defend Ingraham against the boycott. “They needed to show the haters wouldn’t get a scalp,” one Fox staffer said. According to an insider, on Saturday, Murdoch emailed Fox News co-president Jack Abernethy and instructed him to support Ingraham. On Monday night, the network released a statement with Abernethy’s name attached. “We cannot and will not allow voices to be censored by agenda-driven intimidation efforts . . . We look forward to having Laura Ingraham back hosting her program next Monday when she returns from spring vacation with her children,” it read. (A person close to Murdoch said he was not involved in drafting the statement.)

Sources say Murdoch has told people that Fox’s current management has been too quick to cave to the network’s many critics. “Rupert’s been annoyed by what he perceives as cowardly behavior by his executives,” one person close to Murdoch told me. “He thinks they’re being pussies.” In February, Murdoch was unhappy that Fox retracted an offensive column, by Fox veteran John Moody, mocking U.S. Olympic officials for emphasizing the team’s diversity.”

You think they are being what, Rupert?

Nice language for the owner of a so called news channel forced to shed misogynists by the sack full.

Now might be a good time to renew our entreaties to Laura Ingraham’s remaining sponsors from the original list Tweeted by David Hogg:

x

Numbers 3, 7, 9,10, 11 and 12 have already dropped The Ingraham Angle.

The rest could use another nudge.
