Callum Borchers at The Washington Post postulates that whether Roy Moore wins or loses tomorrow Steve Bannon will not be affected by the result, though a win would be marginally better because Bannon will seek to take credit for it.
“This is an easy prediction because when Moore won the Republican primary runoff, in September, Breitbart declared in its news coverage that the “result proved the enduring power and reach of Breitbart News. . . . Bannon, and Breitbart, are no longer just the most hated names inside the Beltway. Now, they are also the most feared.”
Good luck with that, Callum and Steve, if Moore wins tomorrow, big mouth drumpf will crow that Moore was trailing badly in the race before he shone the beastly beneficence of his approval on Moore’s pervert face and that everyone else had made a muck of the race and that he alone could fix it.
Meanwhile... McConnell will grouse that if Bannon hadn’t put his bad juju and ugly face on the contest, his guy, Luther Strange would have skipped to victory.
And he would be right.
Borchers also thinks that a loss for Moore wouldn’t be so bad for Bannon…
”If Bannon's effect on the Moore-Jones contest registers between modest and nonexistent, then it must be noted — if we're being consistent — that a Moore defeat would not mean Bannon is toxic, either.”
Uh, Callum... have you been sleeping the past ten months?
You think that drumpf is gonna endorse Moore, watch him go down to defeat, and say “Well, I did my best, I guess it wasn’t enough”….
H...E...double hockey sticks — NO he won’t.
If Doug Jones pulls it out drumpf will need a fall guy, and there is only one available.
You might as well cycle back and play with your stupid fascist rag of a news site Bannon, after tomorrow you’re done with directly influencing electoral politics.
