The Kansas City Star is a fairly middle of the road Newspaper, they endorsed Hillary last year, as did almost every other paper of any credibility, but they also endorsed Roy Blunt, Mr. Establishment Republican in Missouri’s Senatorial race, much to my disgust.
So for them to take an extremely critical tone, in their Sunday edition no less, on drumpf’s response to Hurricane Katrina Maria and his plans on jetting over the bigly water to visit there Tuesday is kinda of a big deal.
“Good news, Mr. President: You in all seriousness should not bother visiting Puerto Rico on Tuesday
If you stayed on the golf course, you’d do less harm
The last thing the 3.4 million Americans in post-Maria Puerto Rico need is Donald J. Trump, live and in person and taking everything personally, still going off on San Juan’s frantic, frustrated mayor for refusing to overlook reality and agree that the federal response is somehow a “good news story….
To put that another way, having managed to stay away for nearly two weeks since the storm, keep up the good work. How’s that?”
Melinda Henneberger, writing for the editorial board, went on to chastise the squatter for attacking San Juan’s Mayor unfairly, and recounted a story, told to her by a personal acquaintance, of Puerto Ricans helping each other and doing the best they can under unbelievable hardships.
The last thing Puerto Rico needs is the Oranger Shart Generator taking up space in an airplane that would be better occupied by bottled water, or food, or not anything at all, really.
There are plenty of things for you to fuck up right here, asswipe, without taking your shit show on the road to add another layer of disaster to an already devastated and suffering community.
