Hard up, unemployed, pathetic coach flying fiction writer and Secretariat impersonator Ann Coulter is completely unhinged and still Tweeting about a seating mix up on her Delta Flight Saturday.
And in my diary Saturday about the incident, I used Raw Story for a source and got the facts wrong.
The real story, according to Business Insider, is that Miss Thing originally pre-booked seat 15F, a starboard window seat in the emergency escape aisle which provided extra steerage for he preternaturally elongated hooves. Hoping to avoid a repeat of an unfortunate incident on a previous flight when a sane passenger seated next to her tried to end one of her tirades by chucking her out of the plane on their descent into Hong Kong after a fifteen hour flight, she changed her mind, in the last 24 hours, opting instead for an Aisle seat in the same row, 15D. When another paying passenger had also to be otherwise accommodated, one with perfectly normal size cannon bones, but some other undisclosed need, Delta wisely chose to put Ann in the Port side widow seat in the same row 15A, probably in hopes that a different despairing passenger would have better luck with the door latch.
An epic Tweet pout ensued.
Delta got tired of hearing it,apologized and gave her back her thirty bucks for a re-shoeing or a nice hour at the spa getting her hooves filed.
Story over, right?
No.
Coulter has since tweeted pretty much non-stop into today, no doubt trying, and succeeding, like her hero drumpf, to Make America Guffaw Again.
