Motivated by spite and ratings, with no regard for the truth, and not the slightest glimmer of self awareness, he spun tales of Obama’s “otherness”— of his “radical” accomplices... the “unrepentant domestic terrorists” Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn, his devotion to “Black Liberation Theology” through his irrepressible pastor the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and his tutelage at the knee of “subversive communist” Frank Marshall Davis who was neither particularly subversive or communist and who once wrote...

How your boy uses disgust and outrage at his un-Presidential and vile language and thoughts to distract from his larger failings.

The thing he damages is something he neither owns nor particularly values, in the abstract at least. The thing he hurts is the Presidency and by extension the United States of America. And if you’re a person that doesn’t really care about those things, someone who thinks those things aren’t all that valuable, someone who certainly doesn’t feel any responsibility for not only recognizing their value but upholding their value with your own behavior, then why not let those things take the hit, why not let those thing absorb the cost?
The Presidency, the standing of the United States among nations...pfffft...if those costs are external to you, if those things aren’t yours, than those costs, when you incur them, are external and the rewards of your behavior that hurts them are internal. The rewards all accrue to you, right, the ability to create infinite distraction at will, the ability to lead the media and to lead much of the nation basically on a choke chain, at will, because you are willing to go beyond provocative and controversial to the point of disgust? All the benefits of that accrue to him. The harm of it is to the country.”
Hannity, how are we to respect an office which the occupant does not respect or value beyond the benefits it bestows upon himself, and himself alone?
And how are we to respect the office occupied by a piece of excrement that ridicules the handicapped, calls women dogs and pigs and characterizes his own daughter as “a piece of ass”?
What are we to think of your utter ignorance in seeking to place this buffoon in the company of the infinitely flawed but not totally self serving figures who preceded him into this office?
And what are we to do with the lifeless body of poor irony, which you have murdered for your own ego and tax cut’s sakes?
