I don’t have one of those orange linky things for you in this diary, cause I was just boldly lied to in real time, just a few minutes ago in my car coming home, and the lie was so brazen, albeit smoothly delivered over the radio by the faux news top of the hour talking head, that I actually did a movie scene like double take, and nearly spewed my Gatorade, tempered though I am, unfortunately, to Fox’s lies.
As I have sheepishly admitted hear before, I monitor Hannity in my truck radio when I am at work, and he is always yammering in the shop radio when I’m not driving, and I think it’s important to track what he’s dishing out to his listeners,...much as one would study an enemy to know what you are up against.
Hannity spent most of his show twisting former Obama Admin staffer Evelyn Farkas’ words in her interview on MSNBC, where she said “ We have very good intelligence on Russia” and confirmed what we already know, that some of that information, as well as revealing what the Russians were up to, concerned conversations or contacts they had had with the trump campaign.
And though this has already been reported, Hannityjob was talking as if he’d cracked a big scoop; that Farkas was admitting that Barack was hiding behind potted palms in Trump Tower, notepad in hand.
Blah blah blah.
Typical Hannity horseshit.
But it was when the news rolled at the top of the hour that Fox casually rolled their shiny new lie.
The announcer was talking about the White House inviting Nunes’ Intelligence committee to 1600 to supposedly view the files that Nunes has been going on for for a week, when she said….
“The White House hopes this will vindicate the Presidents claim that…
“MEMBERS OF HIS CAMPAIGN WERE CAUGHT UP IN INCIDENTAL COLLECTION OF INTELLIGENCE.”
So that’s the play now, not a Hannity horse biscuit, but the White House and Fox News claiming that Trump said what the evidence will support and not the ginormous libel that he laid on OUR President.
