Yesterday, Guadalupe García de Rayos reported to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in Phoenix, Arizona as she has every sixth months since her conviction for identity theft for using a false Social Security Number for her employment at the Golfland Sunsplash amusement Park in Mesa, Arizona.

This, of course, was her first check in since the beginning of the Trump administration, and she was arrested, separated from her husband and children, and placed in a van to be transported to...well...no one knows at this point...Heavy (not a good source I know)...reports that NBC 12 Phoenix suspects she is being moved to a “federal detention center in Elroy, Arizona while awaiting deportation.”

But, as the NY Times writes:

“By midnight on Thursday, her husband said he was not sure where she was.”

Ms. Rayos entered the U.S. without papers in 1995, when she was fourteen years old, presumably brought here by her parents, but I can find no confirmation of this.

“Ms. Rayos was 14 when she left Acambaro, a city in an impoverished corner of the Mexican state of Guanajuato, and sneaked across the border into Nogales, Ariz., a three-hour drive from Phoenix. She married — her husband is also undocumented — and gave birth to a boy and a girl, who are now in their teens.

“The only crime my mother committed was to go to work to give a better life for her children,” said her daughter, Jacqueline, as Ms. Rayos stood by her side before entering the ICE building with her lawyer.”

I don’t have time to write anymore, I have to get to work, you can pursue her story at the NY Times link above or on this Twitter Page

Guadalupe is just the first example of the dangerous criminals Trump is going to rid our country of…

Welcome to his Brave New World.
